I am an elementary school teacher in southern Colorado who has been fortunate enough to be accepted to participate in a Teaching American History Grant. I have had the opportunity to travel to Boston, Philadelphia, and New York with a group of 30+ teachers and professors from CSU-Pueblo. We work hard, learn so much, and are able to bring these expereinces back to our classrooms for the benefit of our students and to enhance our effectiveness as teachers of American history. What a privilege!
